For the love of music, animals, and community.

In early 2017, Ray Baker, dog-owner and one of the founders of the Vox Artium Foundation had an idea. He wanted to create a small outdoor concert that would benefit a couple of local pet rescue organizations. As he began to reach out to bands and sponsors, the idea began to grow...and just keeps growing.

The Vox Artium Foundation (voice of the arts in Latin,) was incorporated in August 2017 to coordinate all the people, animals, businesses and cities who want to participate in the Rock for Rescues program. The inaugural festival, held in Milton, GA on April 28, 2018, drew approximately 4,000 people, and raised over $30,000. The second season saw the program continue to build and Milton once again hosted the event in April for 10,000 people raising $35,000.

Now an established event the festival is moving to the Amphitheater in Woodstock on April 25th and will be a ticketed event. The organization will continue to have "right-sized" events in Milton and looks forward to what 2020 has to bring.

Rock for Rescues is all about bringing together the love of music, animals and community. The community is growing, join us!
